Northern California Outside Sales Representative
Summary
We are seeking an outside sales candidate to who is self-motivated and will drive sales of industrial tools and equipment in the Santa Clara county region. Flexible Assembly Systems is the leading distributor of light industrial tools and equipment. The tools and equipment being sold require a technical understanding and an integrated sales approach. This is strictly a HUNTER role calling on new business and opportunities to support the industrial manufacturing market.
Responsibilities:
- Cultivating new client relationships.
- Providing customer service through continuous follow-up.
- Preparing customer proposals (quotations).
- Set monthly and yearly sale goals, including strategies that will be implemented to achieve those goals, and work diligently to attain those goals.
- Schedule meetings with prospective and existing clients.
- Self-generate leads through referrals, networking, cold calling or other viable means whenever possible.
- Communicate with the company management as needed to ensure smooth sales process and customer satisfaction.
- Follow through on all sales
- Working closely with the rest of the sales team.
- Travel is required. You must have a clean DMV record and have your own transportation.
Experience Requirements:
- Excellent communication skills (Verbal & Written)
- Proactive work ethic; strong people skills; positive attitude
- Results driven individual with meticulous attention to detail
- Proficient in Microsoft Windows based programs to include Excel, Outlook, and Word
- 5 years previous sales experience
- Previous industrial tool sales experience (preferred)
- Pass required background and/or reference checks.

- Bilingual (Spanish)

Mechanical Engineer
Summary
Flexible Assembly Systems is a premier integrator of Fanuc Robotics with an emphasis in turn-key assembly, dispensing, and packaging cells. We are seeking a mechanical engineer with SolidWorks 2011 design capabilities.
Responsibilities:
- Managing a build schedule timeline
- Fast turnaround rendered conceptual designs
- Design of parts, subassemblies, and large assemblies
- Machine drawings for manufacturing purposes
- Assemble a bill of materials and build instructions
- Modeling of electrical and pneumatic cabinet layouts
- Working closely with vendors to spec components
- Assist assembly team with questions
- Ability to work closely with the end-user and outside sales team
Experience Requirements:
- Excellent communication skills (Verbal & Written)
- Proactive work ethic, strong people skills, positive attitude
- Result driven individual with meticulous attention to detail
- Proficient in Microsoft Windows based programs to include Excel, Outlook, and Word
- 5 years of automation industry experience
- Pass required background and/or reference checks
