Company InfoPress Release -- June 7, 2006

For Immediate Release:

Flexible Assembly Launches Makita Cordless and Ingersoll Rand DC Electric Fastener Systems

San Francisco, CA, June 7, 2006 -- Flexible Assembly Systems, a licensed distributor for Ingersoll-Rand, and AIMCO, has announced two new product lines that have been added to its light-assembly portfolio. The first is a major partnership with the Los Angeles based manufacturing and assembly tool brand, Makita. The second includes the addition of the Ingersoll Rand DC Electric Fastening Systems line to its product list.

The firm has added the full list of Makita cordless tools to its already robust list of light assembly tools. These tools may be important in manufacturing environments where pneumatic or electric sources may not be present. Makita presents a great deal of flexibility for organizations seeking a cordless angle nutrunner, impact driver, impact wrench, or precise torque screwdriver. “Our customers have been asking for tools that give them freedom in the manufacturing workplace, and we’re pleased with Makita’s ability to do just that,” states Eddie Silverberg, President of Flexible Assembly Systems, Inc.

For firms that require a critical fastening application, an assembly tool can only go so far. Manufacturers may require turn-key methods to get at specific torque settings, speed settings, and fastener counts. Ingersoll Rand’s DC Electric Fastener Systems tackle these issues to create the perfect tool for a critical, and highly specific application. “Critical assembly environments have enjoyed the performance and ease of use of Ingersoll Rand’s tool controllers”, says Silverberg. Programming the tool is a simple process, and productivity and accuracy are significantly increased by using this solution.
