Programmable Torque Tools

FAS Programmable Torque Tools

Programmable tools, also referred to as DC Electric tools and Transducerized tools can provide a lot of value to improve quality of production, improved efficiency in manufacturing processes, increased data collection, and minimize rework and damaged parts caused by inaccurate torque. They allow users to track final torque, program multiple torque strategies, monitor angle, track fastener information, and log all fastening data. These torque controlled smart tool systems can be easily integrated into an internal network for MES data collection and are ideal for use in handheld or automated fastening applications. We carry the most innovative and reliable DC electric fastening systems in the industry, including programmable impact wrenches, programmable torque wrenches, and more. All Kolver screwdrivers work in combination with a control unit acting as an AC to DC transformer and torque controller. The electronic control circuit cuts the power supply to the motor as soon as the pre-set torque has been reached.

PLUTO® (PLUs TOrque) screwdrivers represent a real revolution in the assembly market. Totally designed and manufactured in Europe by KOLVER, PLUTO&res; tools can reach 442 in/lbs with a repeatability of +/-5% with a unique electronic torque control system. Priced at the same level as obsolete air tools, PLUTO® screwdrivers are the cost effective powerful solution to help you stay several steps ahead of your competition. Available with pistol, inline or fixture mount style for manual or automated applications up to M6. Fully electronic torque control system, manually set by a dial on the controller (EDU2AE or EDU2AE/HPro), to shut the tool off automatically once the preset torque is reached.

  • 8 independent programs with one PLUTO Screwdriver
  • Password protected
  • Options include USB port, Socket tray or Switch box
