There are two types of torque wrenches: click type and direct reading. Primarily used for tightening, click type torque wrenches indicate completion of tightening by providing an audible "click" sound. Direct-reading torque wrenches are mainly used for measuring and inspection. Measurement values are displayed and provided to the user to prevent errors in tightening. There are wired, wireless and marking models available.
