Chester Zephyr Army-Type Geared Trolley Hoists
Chester Zephyr army-type trolley hoists are relied on for their light weight and their ability to traverse curved track freely. Capacities run from 1/2 to 10 tons with 8 ft of standard lift. On the geared trolley version, the operator moves the hoist with a hand chain that drives the trolley, for controlled positioning of heavier loads.
Swivel Trolleys for Curved Track
A standard Zephyr spur geared hoist is suspended on a load bar carried at each end by a two-wheel trolley. The trolley units swivel, so the hoist travels freely around minimum radius curves and works well in tight spaces. Trolleys use lifetime lubricated precision ball bearings, adjust to beam size, and have convex machined treads that hold their roundness through long use. Plain and geared trolley units are interchangeable, so a plain trolley can be upgraded to geared at any time.
Zephyr army-type hoists are fabricated in accordance with ANSI B30.16 and HMI 200 and feature a mechanically sealed, grease-tight enclosure with durable internal gears, pinions and pinion shafts.
