Overview
Chester Zephyr Steel Twin Hook Hoists
Chester Zephyr steel twin hook hoists are hand chain hoists built for long and bulky loads that are hard to lift evenly from a single point. Models are available from 1/2 to 5 tons with 8 ft of standard lift, and hooks can be spaced up to 16 ft between centers, with extra long lifts available as needed.
How a Twin Hook Hoist Works
A twin hook hoist drives two separate load chains simultaneously from a single hand chain. With one hook at each end of the load, the operator raises both points together, keeping long work pieces such as bar stock, pipe, beams and panels level and under control without coordinating two separate hoists.
Rugged Steel Construction
Zephyr hoists use a mechanically sealed, grease-tight enclosure that keeps lubricant in and contaminants out, a shock resistant design, and durable internal gears, pinions and pinion shafts built for long service. As a manual hoist, the Zephyr twin hook needs no power supply, making it practical for maintenance areas, field work and facilities without convenient power.
