Overview

CM Clevis Assemblies Grade 70

CM Grade 70 clevis assemblies are transport binder chains with a clevis grab hook on each end. They meet Department of Transportation requirements and are required in most states by the DOT. Assemblies come in 1/4 to 1/2 in. chain from 12 to 25 ft, and custom lengths are available.

Choice of Chain Style

CM offers different binder chains in these assemblies: short link chain for easier take up and better cornering, or traditional pitch chain for less weight per foot. Chain won't degrade in ultraviolet light the way nylon straps do, and the gold chromate finish is per ASTM B633 Fe/Zn 13 Type II.

Binder chain assemblies are for load securement only and must not be used for overhead lifting.
