CM Grade 43 High Test chain is 50% stronger than Grade 30, for container securement, logging, towing and marine use. Self-colored or galvanized, 1/4 to 3/4 in., 100% proof tested. Not for overhead lifting.

Overview

CM High Test Chain Grade 43

Grade 43 chain, commonly called High Test, is manufactured to meet ASTM and NACM specifications and is 50% stronger than Grade 30 chain. Typical uses include container securement, logging, towing and the marine industry, in sizes from 1/4 to 3/4 in.

Finishes and Packaging

High Test chain is available in self-colored and galvanized finishes, packaged in drums. Every length is 100% proof tested with permanent identification on the chain and a 3:1 design factor.

Not for overhead lifting. For lifting slings, use Herc-Alloy 800 or Herc-Alloy 1000 alloy chain.
