CM Master Links Dual Rated for Herc-Alloy 800 and 1000
CM dual rated oblong master links accept both Herc-Alloy 800 and Herc-Alloy 1000 chain and components, so one master link works across both grades of sling assembly. They may be used for mechanical and welded sling assemblies.
Why an Oblong Master Link
Featuring an optimum design for sling construction, oblong master links have a greater capacity than master rings of the same size because of their smaller width. The oval shape is also ideal for crane hooks, since the depth of a crane hook is normally greater than its width.
Tested and Protected
Every link is 100% proof tested with a 4:1 design factor and finished in durable orange powder coat. Standard sizes are dual rated through 1-3/4 in. only; special sizes are not dual rated.
Working load limits and dimensions are listed on each model below. Always match components to the chain grade and size in your sling and follow ASME B30.9 inspection requirements.
