Overview

CM Proof Coil Chain Grade 30

Grade 30 chain, commonly called Proof Coil, is manufactured to meet ASTM and NACM specifications. Typical uses include barrier chains, trailer safety chains, light construction and the marine industry, in sizes from 3/16 to 3/4 in.

Finishes and Packaging

Proof Coil is available in self-colored, zinc plated and hot dipped galvanized finishes, packaged in drums and pails. Every length is 100% proof tested, embossed with CM30 for permanent identification, and carries a 4:1 design factor.

Not for overhead lifting. For lifting slings, use Herc-Alloy 800 or Herc-Alloy 1000 alloy chain.
