CM Grade 70 transport binding chain is heat treated high carbon steel with a gold chromate finish for load securement. Meets ASTM, NACM, FMCSA and CVSA, 100% proof tested, 1/4 to 1/2 in. Not for overhead lifting.

Overview

CM Transport Binding Chain Grade 70

CM Grade 70 transport chain is heat treated high carbon steel built for load securement on trucks and trailers. It meets ASTM and NACM standards and FMCSA and CVSA requirements, in sizes from 1/4 to 1/2 in.

Tough, Traceable and Easy to Spot

Thermal heat treatment delivers superior wear and toughness, and every length is 100% proof tested with a 4:1 design factor. The chain is zinc plated with a gold chromate finish, has a full weld trim, and is embossed with G70 plus a three letter trace code for permanent identification.

Packaging

Grade 70 chain is available in standard and short link styles, packaged in pails and drums.

Not for overhead lifting. For lifting slings, use Herc-Alloy 800 or Herc-Alloy 1000 alloy chain.
