Overview
Coffing EC Turnover Electric Chain Hoists
Coffing EC Turnover hoists are specially modified Coffing EC electric chain hoists built for machining, assembly and repair work that requires complete rotation or precise positioning of large, non-symmetrical work pieces. Models cover rated loads from 1/4 to 4 tons with a 15 ft standard lift stroke.
How a Turnover Hoist Works
Instead of a single hook, an EC Turnover hoist has two load hooks. Attaching both to the work piece lets the operator raise one side while the other side lowers, rolling the part over under full hoist control. This makes it practical to flip dies, molds, castings and weldments safely and accurately without improvised rigging.
Capacity, Speed and Power
Models from 1/4 to 2 tons lift at 16 FPM, and 3 and 4 ton models lift at 8 FPM for controlled handling of heavier parts. All models run on 230/460V three phase power. A 15 ft lift stroke is standard, and longer lift strokes are available from the factory.
Flexible Assembly Systems can help you size a turnover hoist and plan suspension for your work piece and workspace. Contact our team for pricing, availability and application support.
